Hi, I’m Karizma—the heart behind Red Realities.

I started this work not just because periods are natural, but because the silence and lack of education around them isn’t. Growing up, I saw how shame, confusion, and lack of access impacted girls, especially in communities like mine. I knew we deserved better. I created Red Realities to change the narrative.

With a background in sociology, youth work, and community empowerment, I’ve spent years listening, learning, and showing up for girls and women who often feel overlooked. Through workshops, real conversations, and hands-on learning, Red Realities helps girls understand their cycles, embrace their bodies, and walk in confidence without shame or fear.

This isn’t just my passion, it’s my assignment. I believe education is power, conversation is healing, and every girl deserves to know that what’s happening to her body is not gross, scary, or embarrassing... it’s real, and it’s hers.
